S1 E2: Pushpa is a 50-year-old widow with whom she has brought up her two daughters single-handedly. She lives alone now, and the gulf in front of her is as empty as her life itself.
S1 E3: Jyoti comes from the upper castes of Manesar, Haryana, and she is studying in Delhi. Here, she falls in love with Raj, a bright but lower-caste boy.
S1 E4: Aarti is the best possible Indian mold – observes everything going on in the so-called social and family circles. Her life proceeds wholly in college, home, and revisitation. Unheard desires backed by her friends’ stories take a different direction for her, however.
S1 E5: Karuna is suppressed in her marital home in Meerut. She is mentally and physically humiliated by her husband, Nitesh. She is molested and is termed barren by her mother-in-law too.
